overview
Themes include, but aren't limited to Water, Fire Safety, Autumn Changes, Transportation, Thanksgiving, Christmas Symbols, Weather Changes, My Body, Occupations, Books, Spring and Planting, Bugs, and Summer Fun. 

Letters / Writing / Reading In this program, the children work on a letter a week. Each letter is introduced with its sound/sounds, and words that begin with the letter. Both upper and lower case letters are introduced. Children recognize their first, middle and last names, their addresses and phone numbers. Children write their names and other words each day. The class is also introduced to beginning phonics, blends, and word families and how they work together to make words. 

Numbers / Math The Pre-K class will write the numbers through 20 and count to 100. Sequencing and patterns are still taught and built upon from the 3/4 class. Simple math equations are taught and used with both concrete and symbols.​
